First seen Jan 19, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study compares two shortened radiation therapy schedules for breast cancer patients after surgery. One group receives radiation over 2 weeks (34 Gy in 10 sessions) and the other over 3 weeks (40.05 Gy in 15 sessions). The goal is to see which schedule better controls cancer and causes fewer skin side effects. About 70 women who have had breast-conserving surgery or mastectomy will take part.
