Doctors track safety of new radiation method for breast cancer
NCT ID NCT07407192
Summary
This study monitored side effects in breast cancer patients who received a precise, targeted radiation boost during their standard treatment after breast-conserving surgery. Researchers followed 93 patients to track both short-term and long-term side effects from this technique. The goal was to check if the side effects were similar to what other studies have reported, helping ensure the treatment is safe for routine use.
