Can a pill and fish oil stop breast cancer before it starts?

NCT ID NCT06195306

Summary

This study is testing whether a low dose of the drug tamoxifen, taken with or without high-dose omega-3 fish oil supplements, can help prevent breast cancer in women at high risk. It is for overweight or obese postmenopausal women who have specific risk factors, like a family history or certain prior breast cell changes. Researchers will measure changes in blood and breast tissue markers to see if the treatments are working.
