NCT ID NCT05709158
First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looked at medical records from over 1,300 breast cancer patients in Japan who took the drug palbociclib. The goal was to find out which patients are more likely to develop a severe drop in white blood cells (grade 4 neutropenia), a known side effect. Researchers compared patients who had this side effect to those who did not, using statistical methods to identify risk factors. The study did not test a new treatment, but rather gathered information to help doctors better manage this risk.
