Scientists probe link between body fat, inflammation, and breast cancer

NCT ID NCT07447440

Summary

This study aims to understand how certain natural fats produced by the body might be connected to breast cancer and obesity. Researchers will compare 60 postmenopausal women, some with breast cancer and some without, and look at their weight, diet, activity levels, and blood markers. The goal is to gather information that could lead to new treatment ideas in the future, but this study itself does not test a treatment.
