New study: tiny cell particles may predict chemo success in breast cancer

NCT ID NCT07500129

First seen Apr 12, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study looks at whether tiny particles called exosomes, released by breast cancer cells, can help predict how well a tumor will respond to chemotherapy given before surgery. Researchers will collect blood and tumor tissue from 60 women with breast cancer and analyze their microRNA patterns. The goal is to find a simple, non-invasive way to personalize breast cancer treatment in the future.
