Blood test could predict where breast cancer spreads next
NCT ID NCT07297134
Summary
This study aims to find out if simple blood tests can predict where breast cancer is most likely to spread in the body. Researchers will compare blood samples from 160 women: some with metastatic breast cancer, some with early-stage breast cancer, and some healthy women. They'll measure specific substances in the blood (PTEN and microRNAs) to see if certain patterns match where cancer has spread or might spread.
