NCT ID NCT07297134

First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study is testing whether a simple blood test can help predict where breast cancer might spread in the body. Researchers will measure two types of markers in the blood: PTEN (a protein that normally stops tumors) and microRNAs (tiny molecules that can signal cancer activity). They will compare 80 women with cancer that has already spread, 40 with early-stage cancer, and 40 healthy women. The goal is to develop a noninvasive tool that could guide personalized monitoring and treatment decisions.
