First seen May 22, 2026 ยท Last updated May 22, 2026

Summary

This study looked at a treatment plan for women with invasive breast cancer that involves removing the breast (mastectomy) and immediately rebuilding it with an implant, followed by radiation therapy (sometimes with chemotherapy). The goal was to see how often this approach works well. The study included 66 women and followed them for up to 3 years after surgery.
