First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study looks at two methods for removing breast cancer in women with early-stage disease. One method removes extra tissue around the tumor routinely, while the other uses a special marker to remove tissue only where needed. The goal is to see which approach leads to fewer cancer cells left behind and less healthy tissue removed. About 204 women will take part.
