Withdrawn study sought to ease arm swelling fears in breast cancer survivors

NCT ID NCT06672224

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study was designed to check if getting an IV in the arm of breast cancer patients who had lymph node surgery increases their risk of lymphedema (arm swelling). Researchers planned to use a safe dye called indocyanine green and a special camera to see how the lymph system works. The study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled, so no results are available.
