Magnetic 'Tattoo' could help surgeons find key lymph nodes after breast cancer chemo

NCT ID NCT06104371

Summary

This study is testing a new method to help surgeons find the most important lymph nodes during breast cancer surgery after chemotherapy. Researchers inject a safe magnetic tracer before chemotherapy starts, aiming to 'mark' key lymph nodes so they can be accurately found and removed months later during surgery. The goal is to see if this method works as well as or better than the current standard technique.
