Radiation boost added to standard drugs in fight against spreading breast cancer

NCT ID NCT04563507

Summary

This study is testing whether adding targeted radiation to standard hormone therapy drugs helps control advanced breast cancer that has spread. It will enroll 102 women with hormone-positive breast cancer that has metastasized to up to five sites. Researchers want to see if this combination approach keeps the cancer from progressing longer than standard treatment alone.
