New scan could tell doctors if breast cancer treatment is Working—Weeks sooner

NCT ID NCT06086704

Summary

This study is testing a new type of imaging scan (called 18F-FFNP PET/MRI) to see if it can predict how well a patient's breast cancer will respond to hormone therapy given before surgery. Researchers want to know if this scan, performed early in treatment, can reliably show whether the therapy is working. The goal is to help doctors identify non-responders sooner so treatment plans can be adjusted.
