New imaging tech aims to see through dense breast tissue

NCT ID NCT03897270

Summary

This study is testing a new imaging method called photoacoustic tomography, which uses light and sound waves together. It aims to get clearer pictures of breast tissue, especially for people with dense breasts where mammograms can miss things. The goal is to see if this method can better identify breast cancer and track how it responds to treatment.
