First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tested a new imaging dye called LS301-IT in 22 women with early-stage breast cancer (DCIS or stage I-II) who were having a partial mastectomy. The dye is injected into a vein before surgery to make cancer cells glow, helping surgeons see and remove them more accurately. The main goals were to check safety and how well the dye works to spot cancer during the operation.
