New scan tested as potential alternative to MRI for breast cancer detection

Summary
This small pilot study aims to see if a newer type of 3D X-ray scan (called CE-DBT) can give doctors the same level of confidence as a standard MRI when looking at known suspicious areas in the breast. Researchers will recruit 20 women who are already scheduled for or have recently had a breast MRI. Participants will get the new scan on one breast to directly compare the image quality and diagnostic information from both methods.
