New scan could tell doctors if breast cancer chemo is working sooner

NCT ID NCT02324387

Summary

This study is testing a special imaging scan to see if it can predict how well chemotherapy works for women with breast cancer before they have surgery. The scan is done before, during, and after chemotherapy to see if changes in the tumor can show early signs of treatment success. The goal is to help doctors better plan the most effective treatment for each patient.
