Summary
This study tested whether a brief, culturally sensitive support program led by a nurse practitioner could help breast cancer survivors who were hesitant to start their recommended hormone therapy. The program involved two individual sessions and follow-up questionnaires over 12 weeks. Researchers aimed to see if the program was practical and acceptable to participants, and whether it helped them begin their medication.
