Tracking the lost: major study aims to reconnect breast cancer survivors with care
NCT ID NCT06927102
Summary
This study aims to understand why many breast cancer survivors stop attending their long-term follow-up appointments. Researchers will track 1500 women treated in 2017-2018 to see how many are lost to follow-up after five years. They will then try to contact those who have stopped coming to learn the reasons why and to see if simple outreach can bring them back into the healthcare system.
