Scientists test Four-Pronged attack on tough breast cancer
NCT ID NCT03801369
Summary
This study tested four different drug combinations to see if they could help control advanced triple-negative breast cancer that had spread. It involved 24 patients and aimed to see if pairing a drug called olaparib with other targeted medicines, or using a single new drug, could shrink tumors or slow their growth. The trial was terminated early, and its results are not yet widely known.
