New hope for tough breast cancer: drug cocktail trial launches

NCT ID NCT07330544

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether adding two drugs (entinostat and anlotinib) to a standard hormone therapy (fulvestrant) can shrink tumors or slow cancer growth in people with a common type of advanced breast cancer (HR+/HER2-). About 118 adults whose cancer returned or worsened after prior hormone therapy will receive the drug combinations. The goal is to see if the new combinations work better than current options, while monitoring side effects closely.
