Blood test could guide when to stop breast cancer treatment

NCT ID NCT06663787

Summary

This study is testing a personalized blood test to see if it can detect tiny traces of cancer in patients with advanced HER2-positive breast cancer who have responded very well to treatment for over two years. The goal is to gather knowledge that might help doctors decide if and when it's safe to reduce or stop maintenance therapy for these long-term responders. The study is not providing a new treatment but aims to inform future treatment strategies.
