First seen Mar 21, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study looked at whether adding the drug vorinostat to standard chemotherapy before surgery helps shrink tumors more in women with HER2-negative breast cancer. About 68 women took part, receiving either chemo alone or chemo plus vorinostat. The goal was to see if the combination leads to no cancer left in the breast or lymph nodes at the time of surgery.
