Scientists test 'Switchable' cell therapy to fight advanced breast cancer

NCT ID NCT06878248

Summary

This is an early study to test the safety of a new two-part treatment for people with advanced breast cancer that has spread or cannot be removed by surgery. The treatment involves giving patients their own modified immune cells (CLBR001), followed by a biologic drug (ABBV-461) that acts like a switch to turn those cells on against the cancer. The main goal is to find safe doses and see how the body handles the treatment in about 20 participants.
