Scientists hunt mysterious cells in cancer Patients' blood

NCT ID NCT06408038

Summary

This study aimed to understand whether certain unusual cells found in the blood of people with metastatic breast cancer actually come from their tumors. Researchers collected blood samples from 60 patients before they started new cancer treatments to analyze these cells. The goal was to gather basic knowledge that might help future research, not to provide direct treatment benefits to participants.
