New brain mets attack: radiation, pill & immunotherapy combo tested
NCT ID NCT04711824
Summary
This study is testing a three-part treatment for breast cancer that has spread to the brain. First, patients receive a precise, focused radiation treatment (radiosurgery) along with a daily pill called olaparib. After that, they receive an immunotherapy drug (durvalumab) plus a standard cancer therapy chosen by their doctor. The goal is to see if this combination is safe and can better control the cancer in the brain.
