New combo attack on breast cancer in the brain
NCT ID NCT04923542
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a drug called abemaciclib to precise radiation therapy can better control breast cancer that has spread to the brain. It will involve about 31 patients whose breast cancer is hormone-sensitive and has formed a limited number of brain tumors. The main goal is to see how long the treatment keeps the cancer from growing inside the skull.
