Summary

This study is testing whether it's safe to skip additional armpit surgery or radiation for certain breast cancer patients. It focuses on people whose initial cancer had spread to armpit lymph nodes but who show no remaining cancer there after chemotherapy. The main goal is to see if skipping this treatment is just as effective at preventing cancer's return while reducing the risk of long-term arm swelling and stiffness.
