First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a web-based educational program can help relatives of people with BRCA mutations understand genetic testing and decide if they want it. About 240 adults who are close relatives of someone with a BRCA mutation will be randomly assigned to use the online tool or receive standard care. The goal is to see if the online approach increases the number of people who complete genetic counseling and testing, while also tracking anxiety and depression.
