Summary
This study looks at whether a summer research program helps high school students build confidence in science and feel like scientists. About 180 students from Upper Manhattan and the South Bronx will work in neuroscience labs over 8 months. Researchers will track changes in students' self-reported scientific skills and interest in STEM careers.
