Summary

This study tested a device that uses focused sound waves to temporarily open the protective blood-brain barrier. The goal was to see if this safe procedure could help standard chemotherapy drugs reach brain tumors more effectively in patients with glioblastoma. Researchers enrolled 53 adults to evaluate the safety and feasibility of repeating this procedure during their regular treatment.
