Scientists gather brain tumor samples to hunt for new cures

NCT ID NCT04852354

Summary

This study aims to collect leftover tissue from brain and spinal cord tumor surgeries, as well as from autopsies, to learn more about these cancers. Researchers will use the samples to grow tumor cells in the lab and test how they respond to different drugs. The goal is to find new treatment targets and improve future options for patients. The study also includes collecting samples from some patients without tumors and from parents for comparison.
