Scientists probe brain Tumor's inner workings after surgery
NCT ID NCT05717153
Summary
This early study aims to understand how two oral drugs affect the chemical environment inside brain tumors. Researchers will study 18 adults with a type of brain cancer called glioma who are already scheduled for surgery. After removing part of the tumor, a tiny tube will be placed to collect fluid from the area for a few days while patients take the study drugs, allowing scientists to see how the tumor's chemistry changes.
