First human test of tiny particle tracer for brain cancer scans

NCT ID NCT03465618

Summary

This is a very early study to test a new type of imaging tracer for brain tumors. Researchers are giving a tiny, safe dose of the tracer to a small group of patients and using PET scans to see how it moves through the body and collects in the tumor. The goal is to gather information that could help develop better imaging tools for future patients, not to treat the cancer directly.
