New scan could sharpen brain tumor treatment decisions
NCT ID NCT06667726
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a special type of PET/CT scan to standard brain imaging helps doctors make better treatment decisions for patients with brain tumors. Researchers want to see if this new scan changes the patient's care plan in more than half of cases. The study will also check the safety of the scan and see if it can find tumors that standard MRI scans might miss.
