Scientists hunt for brain scan clues to outsmart deadly tumors
NCT ID NCT05386043
Summary
This study aims to learn if advanced brain scans (MRI and PET) can predict genetic mutations in brain tumors called gliomas. Researchers will enroll 20 adults with a glioma who are scheduled for a tumor biopsy. They will compare detailed scan images with genetic data from the actual tumor tissue to see if the scans can forecast the tumor's genetic makeup.
