Tiny brain device could unlock secrets of tumor growth

NCT ID NCT06322602

Summary

This study is testing whether a small device called an Ommaya reservoir can be safely placed during a brain tumor biopsy. The device allows doctors to collect fluid samples from around the brain over time without repeated spinal taps. Researchers hope these samples will help them find better ways to monitor how a tumor is growing and responding to treatment.
