First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study aims to find substances in the blood that show if a child's brain has been injured by cancer treatments like surgery, chemotherapy, or radiation. Researchers will collect blood samples from 560 children with brain tumors at several time points over three years, and compare them to samples from healthy children. The goal is to better understand how different treatments affect the brain, not to test a new therapy.
