Mind over matter: can calming your brain help your heart?
NCT ID NCT07238920
Summary
This study is testing a brain-computer interface to see if it can help people with stable heart disease and anxiety. Participants will use a device that gives them feedback on their brain activity while listening to sounds, aiming to calm their nervous system and improve heart function. Researchers will compare the results of people using the real device to those using a sham (fake) version to see if the brain training has a real effect.
