Scientists test brain hacks to curb food cravings
NCT ID NCT06426693
Summary
This Yale University study is testing whether people with overweight or obesity can learn to control their brain's response to food images using real-time feedback during MRI scans. Researchers want to see if this 'neurofeedback' training helps reduce food cravings and improves eating habits. The study involves 50 adults who experience strong food cravings and will track changes in their brain activity, cravings, and food choices over time.
