Brain scan could predict best hearing aid
NCT ID NCT05107466
Summary
This study is testing whether a simple brain wave measurement can help predict how well someone with hearing loss might do with a hearing aid or cochlear implant. Researchers will measure participants' brain responses to visual images and compare them to standard hearing and thinking tests. The goal is to see if this brain test provides useful information to improve future hearing loss treatments.
