This study looks at how the brain processes speech when there is background noise, in people with autism, Fragile X syndrome, and those without either condition. About 60 participants will complete hearing tests, questionnaires, and brain-recording tasks while listening to sounds. The goal is to understand which brain areas are involved and whether visual cues can help improve hearing in noise.
