Healthy volunteers needed to map the Brain's social superpowers
NCT ID NCT05774860
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at how healthy brains process social information, like understanding others' feelings. Researchers will use brain scans (fMRI) and brain wave recordings (EEG) to see which brain areas are active during social thinking tasks. The goal is to create a baseline of normal brain function, which can later help understand social difficulties in conditions like autism or dementia. About 200 healthy adults will take part.
