Scientists scan Kids' brains to unlock math learning secrets

NCT ID NCT03059758

Summary

This study aimed to understand how children's reasoning abilities relate to their math skills by looking at brain activity. Researchers scanned the brains of 137 healthy children aged 8-14 while they solved reasoning problems, then compared this brain activity to their math test scores. The goal was to identify which brain regions link reasoning and math ability, potentially helping us understand learning difficulties better.
