Scientists scan brains to unlock secrets of depression and autism
NCT ID NCT06821646
Summary
This study aims to understand how brain activity differs in adults with depression, autism, or both conditions. Researchers will use brain scans and stimulation tests to measure brain inflammation and electrical patterns in 160 participants. The goal is to learn how these brain differences relate to symptoms like social difficulties and low mood, not to test a new treatment.
