Scientists scan brains to predict opioid addiction recovery

Summary
This study aims to understand how opioid addiction affects brain function and thinking skills, and whether brain scans and thinking tests can predict who will do well in treatment. Researchers will study 192 adults with opioid addiction who are already on stable medication treatment, along with healthy volunteers. The goal is to gather knowledge that could lead to better, more personalized treatments in the future.
