Scientists map brain changes after sound wave treatment for shaking hands
NCT ID NCT07446192
Summary
This study aims to understand how a focused ultrasound treatment changes brain activity in people with essential tremor, a condition causing shaky hands. Researchers will use special brain scans and movement tests on 10 participants before and after treatment to see how brain networks connect differently. The goal is to gather knowledge about how the treatment works, not to test the treatment's effectiveness itself.
