Scientists map Brain's response to depression therapy
NCT ID NCT04846829
Summary
This study aims to understand how a brain stimulation treatment works for major depression. Researchers will give 30 participants either a single dose of an antidepressant or a placebo, along with brain stimulation sessions, while measuring brain activity with scans and recordings. The goal is to learn how these treatments change brain circuits, not to test a new cure.
