Brain implant tested to tame severe seizures

Summary
This study is testing the safety and early effectiveness of an implanted brain stimulation device for people with a severe form of epilepsy called Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome (LGS). The device, called the RNS System, is designed to detect and respond to abnormal brain activity to help reduce the frequency of seizures. The study involves 24 participants aged 12 and older whose seizures are not controlled by medication.
