Zapping the brain to heal trauma: new hope for veterans with PTSD
NCT ID NCT05149534
Summary
This study is testing whether a combination of two treatments works better for veterans with PTSD. One treatment uses a magnet to gently stimulate a part of the brain linked to emotion control. The other is a brief, structured writing therapy about traumatic memories. Researchers want to see if doing both together helps reduce PTSD symptoms more effectively than the writing therapy alone.
